We specialise in getting kids surfing and are proud to have played a part in getting hundreds of children from all over the world into the joy of riding waves. Our kids learn about – tides, rips, dangers, hazards, weather, water safety, surf etiquette and of course surfing! When surfing conditions are inadequate, alternative activities are provided.

All kids finish the week with a Dingle Surf School Billabong approved surf course certificate. Also, look out for our Gaelic Language Camps held in mid-summer – a great way to learn Irish and surfing at the same time. Our max class size is 14 with a minimum of two instructors so kids will never be left alone in the water. The price includes your board and wetsuit hire, FREE transfers from Dingle town to the beach and five days of 2 hours of full tuition.

Please bring one of the following:

• The confirmation email on your mobile phone. 
• If you prefer, a paper copy of the voucher can be printed by clicking the link on your confirmation email.

• Your swimming costume, a towel & sunscreen – if you are lucky!

• All the equipment you need: surfboard, 5mm wetsuit & booties
• Transport to and from Dingle to beach
• ISA approval and insurance
• Super friendly and qualified surf instructors who spend the whole lesson with you in and out of the water
• 8:1 Student/Instructor ratio.
• An introduction to surfing covering basic beach safety, equipment overview and an introduction to surfing technique. If you’ve already covered the basics, we’ll tailor the session to suit your needs
• Minimum of 1.5 hours of supervised surfing
• Allow 3 hours from start to finish

Age Restrictions

Surf Camps are for children aged between 8 and 16. Children under the age of 8 may join but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
